Erin Curtis & Jeff Megonigal have lost two beautiful children to cancer. Their oldest, Avery, passed away in October 2007. Avery’s little brother, Nolan, died this past March. Avery & Nolan made medical history. They are the only non-identical twin siblings to be diagnosed with Infant Leukemia. Erin & Jeff cherish their surviving son, Calvin. Calvin is Nolan’s identical twin. He is monitored closely for signs of the cancer that took his brother & sister.

“Erin’s Dream” is to restore & purchase her grandmother’s centuries old farmhouse in Schwenksville, PA. The property has been a source of pure joy & fond memories. The proximity of the property to the natural beauty of Montgomery County’s waterways and trail system is conducive to the peace & healing families like theirs deserve & often seek.

The dream is even more amazing. Not only does Erin wish to raise her small family in the same home that 4 generations of her family were already raised, but the hope is that the house can be renovated & remodeled to serve as a resource for other families in the area who are experiencing the loss of a child.

The illnesses & deaths of Erin & Jeff’s beautiful children has left the young family emotionally & financially devastated. “Erin’s Dream” is to be reached through the donation of time & money of those looking to bless others from our community.

The supporters of “Erin’s Dream” believe that achieving this dream as a community, Erin will have the greatest opportunity to spread her hope & optimism. We hope that you too will be able to meet Erin & her family. You will come to find that she, Jeff & Calvin are dedicated to taking the difficult life lessons they have been dealt & making a positive impact on the world.

You can follow the progress of “Erin’s Dream” at www.erinsdream.org. You can also read more about this amazing project & an even more amazing family.

We reach out to you as we search for ways to spread the word about Erin’s Dream & also to inspire others during these tough economic times to continue to dedicate time, effort, love & support to our community.
