Erin's Dream is an outreach for Erin Curtis, Jeff Megonigal and Calvin Megonigal. Simply put, it is a love story in progress. Their story touches your soul and has inspired many who hear the details to become a part of this dream. Love can turn a nightmare into a dream come true. Most families encounter misfortune – some more than others. Against all odds, Erin and Jeff lost two beautiful children to Infant Leukemia in less than two years. They now have a third child who is also considered at risk for the same deadly disease. Every parent’s worst nightmare became reality, twice. This young family has been financially and emotionally devastated, yet they continue to work tirelessly to reach out to other families just like themselves. Erin’s Dream is to have a home of her own where she can dedicate her lifetime to helping others, sharing what she has learned with those who don’t know where to begin. Erin’s has always dreamed of owning her grandmother’s farmhouse, which must now be sold to finance her grandmother’s care. The Erin’s Dream initiative is focused on renovating this home and enabling Erin, Jeff and Calvin to purchase the property and enjoy a home that would otherwise be lost in their misfortune. Through the donation of time, money, labor and materials from the Erin’s Dream participants, this property must be substantially renovated by November 2010. The Erin’s Dream team is looking for your support through fundraisers, volunteer time or lending a hand however you can.
