Erin
Erin is the namesake for Erin's Dream project. She is Avery, Nolan & Calvin's momma! Many of you may have been following her blogs about Avery & then about Nolan & Calvin over the past few years. She is the author of the blog here at Erin's Dream as well.
Erin's Dream is to keep her grandmother's home in the family & to have a home that can be used as a resource to help others. We all hope to make that dream a reality for Erin & her family through the support of our community. It is important for all of us to join together in helping & blessing others, especially those like Erin & Jeff who serve as an inspiration to others despite their devastating circumstances of loss.
Erin is the daughter of Andrew J. III & Susan. She is a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School Class of 1998 & Bucknell University Class of 2002. Before becoming known largely as Avery and the twins' mom, she was very active in soccer and lacrosse. Following her graduation from Bucknell, she taught Spanish for 1 year at Boyertown Area Senior High & continued her teaching career at Wissahickon School District until the boys were born in 2008. She coached field hockey at both Boyertown Junior High West & at Wissahickon High School.
Erin & the kids' Daddy, Jeff, met while they were both working at Hollenbach Home Center in Boyertown in 2003. They became quick friends as they both are very sociable and friendly and soon enough they realized they cared for each other immensely. They lived in Gilbertsville for a few years & then made the move to Collegeville before Avery was born in 2006. Recently, the family has moved back into the Boyertown area through the grace & giving of Laurel Mountain Ministries. We hope to see them soon in the farmhouse in Schwenksville!
