Wow, August really flew by...Moving, Calvin & I going to Florida, Calvin's birthday party, Motorcycle Ride & planning our bingo events! My mom warned me to "eat my Wheaties" at the beginning of the month because of all we had planned. We survived & we're still going what seems to be 100 miles an hour! It's great. I have said it before...I thrive on chaos. 

 Last night we got our first business to sign up to help sponsor our WINGO "real men's bingo" event. Thank you to the Flying Dog in Earlville, PA. Jeff is such a great salesman. In addition to knowing MANY people in the area, he is a key part of our team in making "Erin's Dream" a reality. One of the unexpected things that happens while working on our project is that we find out how many people have no idea what has been going on with our little family over the past few years. It is one thing to share that Avery passed away, but it is quite powerful to then have to explain that we lost Nolan too. Many of our peers are just starting their families & it is unimaginable to them to consider what it may be like to lose not one, but two beautiful kids to cancer. Some days we glide along, moving forward, cherishing our memories with the kids and making new memories with Cal, but I believe that we still haven't fully wrapped our heads around how much we've survived. 

 This is just another reason why "Erin's Dream" is so important to us. While our story is unique, we all have obstacles & life can throw us off-track at any time. We need to be there for each other to share our realities & pursue our dreams.  We look forward to meeting many more supporters in the coming weeks & do our best to share our hope & perseverance with you.
